On International Literacy Day, we distributed more than 700 seedlings to women at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Center in Almedhmar and trained them in the basics of agricultural maintenance of these trees.

The event, organised with the support of Y30, was attended by the Director General of the Sana’a Governorate’s Literacy and Adult Education Office and the Manakhah district authorities. 

Adnan Shibam, the director of Y30D, urged women to encourage their relatives to return to the roots of agriculture for a more self-sufficient and prosperous Yemen.
