Published : December 2, 2021

We have initiated a sewing training program for about 10 vulnerable women in Sana’a, selected from the beneficiaries of our charity restaurants in the Musyak neighborhood, Known as Khair restaurants.

The training took place in the afternoon at our office in Sana’a and is was conducted by an experienced Yemeni seamstress who volunteered for Y30. She taught sewing techniques and patterns so that to enable participants learn to use a sewing machines and sew traditional as well as everyday clothing.

Sewing training is a great way to empower these women, increase their confidence, and enhance their livelihoods and employment opportunities.
