OUR IMPACT
OUR IMPACT
The Y30 association has made significant improvements in several areas, including education and literacy promotion, agricultural initiatives, health development, women’s empowerment, access to water, and cultural initiatives.
KEY AREAS OF IMPACT:
Agricultural Development and Food Security:
We promote sustainable agricultural practices to enhance food security. The flagship coffee project, which aims to plant one million trees by 2030, has already distributed 500,000 high-quality seedlings to farmers. The objective of this initiative is not only to increase farmers’ incomes and create employment but also to combat desertification and promote environmental sustainability. In addition to uprooting Qat trees, we also build and maintain water basins and ponds to ensure that thousands of people have reliable irrigation. These initiatives aim to lessen the consequences of climate change, boost agricultural output, and enhance water accessibility.

Education and Women's Empowerment:
We believe in empowering women through education and vocational training. We support 41 literacy centers, offer specialized training programs like mobile phone programming and sewing, and distribute educational materials to women farmers in the villages. Our Y30 Institute of Medical and Applied Sciences offers crucial training in medical fields and applied sciences, enabling young Yemenis to pursue new career opportunities and contribute to improved public health. Our mission is to foster self-sufficiency and the participation of women in the economy.
Humanitarian Aid:
Through two charitable restaurants, we provide vital food assistance to vulnerable families, serving over 1,200 meals to approximately 6,000 individuals. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and improve the quality of life for those facing hardship. At the end of 2023, we distributed more than 300,000 meals.

Health :
We prioritize the care and rehabilitation of children with special needs. We provide prosthetics and wheelchairs and contribute to serving 60 children with disabilities. We aim to enhance their independence and promote their inclusion in society.
Cultural and Urban Development:
We are dedicated to preserving Yemen’s rich cultural heritage. Our restoration of 11 houses in Old Sana’a demonstrates our commitment to protecting historical landmarks and revitalizing communities. This work helps to restore cultural identity and strengthens ties to heritage.

Ongoing Projects and Future Goals:
We are continuously expanding our reach and impact. Current projects include completing the construction of our fourth basin, supporting charitable restaurants, renovating more buildings in the old city of Sana’a, educating, planting coffee, and supporting literacy classes in Manakhah and other regions. We remain committed to identifying and addressing the evolving needs of Yemeni communities and working towards a brighter future.
