As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness and strengthening the culture of prevention within the community, Y30 Institute for Medical and Applied Sciences organized the “Safe Motherhood” event on Sunday, October 26, 2025, on the institute’s campus. It was a remarkable day filled with compassion, care, and valuable health education.

 

The event lasted for five continuous hours, during which the atmosphere was filled with warmth and positivity. Dozens of visitors, mothers, and students attended to benefit from free medical services provided under the supervision of a qualified team of medical professionals specializing in medicine, nursing, and nutrition.

 

Event Objective:
The main goal of the event was to raise awareness about the vital role of the midwife in every mother’s journey toward a safe delivery, ensuring that women receive proper health care from the beginning of pregnancy through postpartum recovery.

This purpose was beautifully reflected in the event’s slogan:

A Delightful and Meaningful Experience
The venue was adorned with soft colors and soothing music, creating a calm and joyful environment that celebrated motherhood while promoting learning and relaxation.

Medical Stations and Provided Services: 1. Vital Signs Clinic: This station features professional equipment to measure blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and blood sugar levels for all visitors, supervised by a skilled nursing team. 2. Healthy Nutrition Clinic: Included advanced devices to measure body fat, muscle mass, height, and weight. Free nutritional advice and tailored health programs were offered to mothers and expectant women seeking to maintain a healthy weight. Informational leaflets and giveaways containing useful dietary tips were also distributed. 3. Pregnancy Consultation Clinic: Featured are anatomical models illustrating the stages of fetal growth and the physical changes women experience during pregnancy. Direct medical consultations were provided by a gynecologist, along with educational handouts containing essential tips for a safe pregnancy. 4. Childbirth and Postpartum Care Clinic: Displayed a childbirth simulation doll and educational tools to demonstrate the stages of natural labor. Visitors received expert guidance on avoiding complications such as postpartum infections, with consultations led by a specialized gynecologist. 5. Newborn Care Clinic: Focused on educating mothers about newborn care, emphasizing the importance of breastfeeding and correct feeding positions. Attendees also learned how to properly swaddle their babies, and received brochures addressing common postpartum challenges and the benefits of natural breastfeeding.
