This week we launched our vegetable planting project, with the aim of reviving agriculture and fighting the poverty and hunger that Yemenis have been facing for several years.

Y30 is now growing a variety of vegetables in its Nurseries of Hope. This week, our Y30D colleagues distributed 7,500 tomato and chilli plants and organised training sessions on planting and caring for these plants, as well as sessions on agriculture in general at a girls’ school in Sana’a.

Future sessions will be organised for both children and adults, women and men.
