OUR STORY
AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT:
In 2017, Y30 started buying coffee seedlings from high-quality nurseries in Sana’a and then distributing them free to farmers in Manakhah district, Capital Secretariat (Sana’a), Yemen. In 2019, Y30 opened its nursery, «Y30 First Nursery», with a production capacity of 75,000 seedlings annually to increase coffee productivity in the region. As a result, This initiative proved to be a great success, contributing Y30 decided to establish two additional nurseries, «Y30 Second Nursery « (with a production capacity of 100,000 seedlings annually) in 2020 and «Y30 Third Nursery» (with a production capacity of 25,000 seedlings annually) in 2022. In addition to coffee seedlings, Y30 has also established the «Y30 Fourth Nursery», which specializes in vegetable seedlings production (tomatoes and chili peppers), with a production capacity of 55,000 seedlings annually.
Due to the importance of water in agriculture, Y30 has also restored three ponds in Manakhah district:
Jojab pond (2019-2018)-Kahil Pond (2020)-Al-Shariqah Pond (2021)-Y30 also built four new water basins: Shibam Basin (2019-2018)-Al-Samia Basin (2021-2020)-Amaqah Basin (2023)-Al-Ajmah Basin (under construction) Besides, Y30 built ten water ponds in 2022 and 2 water tanks in Alhifa.


EDUCATION :
In 2019, Y30 opened the first literacy class for women and girls in Manakhah region. This project generated high demand, leading Y30 support the area with six additional classes.
In 2022,Y30 supported 34 literacy centers in Manakhah. Ten centers received thirty sewing machines so that women and girls could learn skills that would make them economically independent.
Believing in the essence of education for young people as well,Y30 established a training and consulting center in Sana’a in Jun /2022. The center offers many training courses in various fields, including technology, business, and management.
HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE:
Since 2017, Y30 has supported the most vulnerable families in Sana’a by providing them with basic lunches. The total number of meals distributed by Y30 until 2023 reached more than 2.5 million.


HEALTH CARE :
In 2022, Y30’s team met Malak, a child with a physical disability. As the region lacked specialized health facilities for children with disabilities, Y30 supported the Vision for a Better Future Center. The center includes 60 children with disabilities and provides them with many services, including occupational and speech therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and recreational therapy. Moreover, Y30 coordinates with the Artificial Limbs Center in Sana’a to distribute artificial limbs and wheelchairs to those in need. In addition, the Y30 organizes many social and cultural activities for children with disabilities, such as entertainment days and honoring parties and more.
