Plant it at home!

Two weeks ago, on Sunday 19 June 2022, Y30D visited different school classes of Dhamar in Yemen. Our local members raised the student’s awareness on the importance of agriculture and tree planting. The aim of this meeting was to bring the children into come with agriculture for the first time. Finally, our team distributed to 500 children each one tomato plant to plant at home. Thanks to this initiative, the children can see how the plant grows and produces tomatoes. This “Plant it at Home” project could become the children’s very first project!

Y30 was very touched by this initiative. It is the Yemeni children who will build the country and it is important that they are given the right tools to thrive and develop into successful individuals. We thank our local team for giving the children and families of Dhamar this opportunity.
