Sewing Training for Women in Sana’a

Published : December 2, 2021

We have started a sewing training for about 10 vulnerable women in Sana’a that we selected from the beneficiaries of our charity restaurants in the Musyak neighborhood, called Khair restaurants.

The training takes place in the afternoon at our office in Sana’a and is led by an experienced Yemeni seamstress who volunteers for Y30. She teaches sewing techniques and patterns so that participants learn to use a sewing machine and sew traditional as well as everyday clothing.

Sewing training is a great way to empower these women, increase their confidence, and develop their livelihoods and employment opportunities through sewing!
