A fruitful partnership for a promising future: Successful conclusion of capacity-building workshop for social workers.

We at the Y30 Development Foundation are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the training workshop held in partnership with the Office of Social Affairs and Labour of the Capital Secretariat and the Y30 Development Foundation, with generous funding from UNICEF.
The training programme was delivered by the distinguished trainer Ibtisam Al-Jaadbi, who shared her expertise with the participants over three days from 1 July 2025 to 3 July 2025, providing them with a wealth of knowledge and information. With 18 hours of intensive training, a select group of social workers from various social care centres and homes in the Capital Secretariat were trained and qualified.

The workshop focused on providing participants with basic and advanced skills in ‘case management services’ with the aim of enhancing their personal, social and professional capabilities. The content was designed to enable them to effectively address social and behavioural problems and employ these skills in vital areas, including:

-Supporting and developing talent: discovering and nurturing the latent abilities of target groups.
-Implementing community initiatives: launching impactful projects that serve the community.
