With Our Hands… We Tell the Stories of Their Hearts
On a day filled with light and hope, and on September 23, 2025, the world celebrated the International Day of Sign Languages. This day reminds us that communication is not limited to spoken words and letters, but goes beyond them to reach the language of the soul, seen and felt by the heart before the eyes.
On this remarkable day, the Y30 Family gathered in an atmosphere filled with love and appreciation for a warm workshop that spanned four hours, rich in experience, learning, and genuine emotions.
Led by the dedicated trainer and sign language interpreter Ruqayyah Abdu Al-Bakari, with the support of the talented Reem Hameed, we embarked on our journey with sign language. We discover how the movement of a hand can convey warmth, and how a smile can say more than a thousand words.
The workshop was not just about learning signs, it was about building bridges of compassion and understanding with our loved ones in the Deaf community. We realized that sign language is not merely symbols made by hand, but messages carried from heart to heart, filled with the true expression of love and humanity.
At Y30, we believe you are never alone. You are an inseparable part of us—of our story and of the very fabric of this society.
This is why we have committed to learning your language… the language of love. To stand close to you, to understand you with our hearts before our ears, and to assure you that we will always be by your side—listening with our souls before our voices.
What we experienced during this workshop was not just an event, but a first step on a longer journey—a journey of learning, supporting, and building bonds of closeness with our brothers and sisters from the Deaf community.
We promise to continue on this path, to carry your message with us, and to work together to create a society that speaks one language—the language of humanity.
