Geneva — March 3, 2022

Once again this year, we continued the tradition established by Y30 to organise a Yemeni National Coffee Day on March 3rd by setting up an information stand in Sana’a, with the presence of local authorities.

Emphasizing the critical role of agriculture and coffee cultivation in boosting the country’s economy, we celebrated by distributing coffee plants sourced from our nurseries to attendees. This gesture aimed to highlight the significance of coffee production in Yemen and its potential impact on livelihoods and economic growth.

The event served as a platform to educate and engage the community about the
importance of preserving and expanding Yemen’s rich coffee heritage. Through interactive demonstrations and discussions, participants gained insights into sustainable agricultural practices, reinforcing the connection between coffee cultivation and economic development.

By fostering awareness and distributing coffee plants, we aim to inspire more individuals to participate in coffee farming, thereby contributing to the revival of this valuable sector and ultimately improving food security and economic resilience in Yemen.
